Manifesting ideas into movement

The variety of Rebecca’s training and performance career has resulted in her having an open mind and a broad range of experiences to draw on when collaborating in the studio. This results in an ability to understand another artist’s vision, and work towards manifesting those ideas in movement.

Rebecca works with a positive approach to facilitate dancers and actors alike to feel comfortable in the physical aspects of their performance. She works with sensitivity and awareness to use movement as a tool for storytelling.

As a Movement Director, Rebecca has worked on a number of shows with Director Hal Chambers including Electra (2017), Polstead (2018), A Christmas Carol (2019) Hansel and Gretel (2019) and The Ballad of Maria Marten (2020).

Rebecca has also supported Lisa Simpson as Translator on her project Branching Out with Rosie Kay Dance Company.
