'In Confidence…was a fantastic piece of dance theatre…’
‘The breadth of experience across different facets of the dance profession together with an honest, personable and knowledgeable approach to the work and undeniable facilitation skills add up to the unique cocktail of expertise that Rebecca is, and we feel privileged to have had the chance to be able to offer our students a sip of it.’

Bespoke Processes

As a choreographer, Rebecca is driven to work with people with a broad range of life and movement experiences, and has created performances for professional artists as well as non-professional performers aged 7 – 70 years old.

In 2016, she was commissioned by Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Engagement and Participation team to create Spring to Life, a twenty-minute ballet performance which toured to three Birmingham Community Centres and was performed by adults aged 20 – 70, many of whom had no previous performance experience.

Performances

Rebecca has created numerous short performance pieces as ‘curtain raisers’ performed by young people prior to a professional show for ACE Dance and Music, Ludus Dance and Rosie Kay Dance Company.

She has also worked with vocational dance students at Elmhurst Ballet School, Northampton University, Edge Hill University and UCLAN to create short performances as part of their studies.

Rebecca is interested in facilitating a positive group dynamic which enables each individual to reach their full creative potential, using movement to articulate the stories that are contained within the body. Rebecca is currently excited to continue to explore her choreographic practice in a range of settings, including online.
